King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal aka K1 De Ultimate or KWAM1 is a Nigerian Musical Fuji Icon born on March 3, 1957, Agarawu, Lagos Island, Nigeria.
King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal aka K1 De Ultimate or KWAM1 discovered his interest in music at the tender age of 8. By the age of 15, he has already won numerous local musical competitions.

King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal aka K1 De Ultimate or KWAM1 biography. He started is musical career at the of age 18 years old when he officially became a member the Supreme Fuji Commanders owned by another Fuji Music Icon Ayinde Barrister aka Alhaji Agba. He also adopted the name of Ayinde to his name after seeking the permission and blessing of his master Ayinde Barrister.
By the age of 22 years old, he released his debut album Iba with the special track ‘Abode Mecca’ in 1980. He subsequently his most successful album Talazo ’84 in 1984. This album became an instant hit and introducing a new, turbo-charged style of music that became widely popular as the Talazo system.
From 1994 until date, he has assumed his mentor’s role as “king of fuji,” a style of dance music combining juju, apala, and Yoruban blues. . He has also obtained a new official name King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal the First (KWAM 1).
The King Wasiu Ayinde has recorded over 50 Fuji albums including some international releases.
Luxury Country House
He converted his Lagos home to a mosque for his 60th birthday, he then moved into his new luxury country house at Liworo Avenue in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, Nigera.
The mansion in question is called Ule Omo Ojushagbola, which means ‘The house of the child of Ojushagbola’. It stretches over 1,800 square metres and comprises of four main buildings, including the seven-bedroom house for the King, eight-bedroom house for his guests, a recording studio and a gym. It also has a gate house, staff quarters, a praying area and much more. It was reported that the whole thing cost him over 2 million dollars!
