The Nigerian international, who has similarities with his childhood hero Didier Drogba, has emerged this season as one of Europe’s most lethal marksmen.
With physical strength to match his quickness and presence, Osimhen’s game exhibits the same degree of violence and destruction.
Osimhen’s style of play exhibits the strength and poise of Drogba, and his prolific record attests to his innate talent to score goals.
However, how many goals has he actually scored for the team thus far? Look at it now.
Goals for Napoli
Osimhen transferred to Serie A team Napoli for a club-record cost of €70 million after an outstanding 2019–20 season with Lille that attracted the attention of several major teams.
Osimhen’s rhythm was hampered in his first season in Naples by a shoulder injury, suspensions, and coronavirus-related issues.
Despite this, he was still able to finish the season on a positive note and scored 10 goals in 2020–21 before surpassing that total the following year.
It goes without saying that his effectiveness in front of goal has helped him gain popularity among Napoli supporters.
By just being there on the field, Osimhen instills dread in the hearts of opposing defenders. He and his partner in crime, Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, are working together to deadly effect to propel Napoli to victory.

Victor Osimhen Goals for Nigeria
Osimhen’s quick ascent to the top has frequently been the outcome of his great achievements for the Super Eagles at various age levels.
He earned the tournament’s top goal scorer title with 10 goals, and his exceedingly encouraging performances at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup drew the attention of many European scouts.
He also played a key part in assuring that the Nigeria U-17 team would ultimately win the competition. Off the back of the competition, Wolfsburg offered him a transfer.

Osimhen’s Total Goals for Club and Country
Osimhen is an agile, contemporary, and powerful striker who has a keen eye for goal, is direct, and is decent at hold-up and link-up play.
He is a footballing unicorn in many aspects. He will make you pay if you put even one yard in the box.
He also has excellent aerial ability, can easily outdistance opponents in the air, and possesses the speed and acceleration to outrun his marker, making him a valuable asset due to his unique combination of skills.
No surprise there are so many large sharks vying for his services.
Osimhen’s contract at Naples runs through 2025, but the Partenopei’s resolve to hang onto their star striker is anticipated to be put to the test shortly.
Clubs will be lined up to sign the Napoli hitman as the calls start to come in over the coming months.
He won’t, however, be available for a bargain. In fact, it would come as a great surprise if he sells for less than €100 million, especially considering that club president Aurelio De Laurentiis is known for striking a hard bargain when it comes to offloading his best possessions.
If Napoli breaks their lengthy Scudetto drought this season, his worth will only go much more.
Osimhen is, all things considered, quickly becoming a striker of the highest caliber, and it will be interesting to watch his goal-scoring antics as he is likely to shatter some records at both the club and international levels.

The legendary Cameroonian scored 21 goals for Inter Milan in the 2010–11 campaign, but they were unable to defend the championship they had won under Jose Mourinho because they allowed AC Milan, a local rival, to beat them to the finish line.
