Meaning and Significance of Flag Colors
What do the flags’ colors symbolize?
The colors of flags typically have a definite meaning, signifying the history, the land, or the ideals of the area or country they represent, even though it is not an exact science.
Since there isn’t much information online (surprisingly, neither in English nor in Spanish), I’ve decided to compile the main meanings of each of the flag colors in this post.
If you know of any flags whose colors refer to things that aren’t on this list, please let me know so I can add them to the list. Let’s go for it!
